How Am I Then A Villain?

How am I then a villain?

Kenan Vurgun reads his speech How am I then a villain?

Kenan is a member of our Young Leaders programme. The Almeida Young Leaders is a scheme giving young people with something vital to say the tools and platform to do so. Each young leader has been mentored by a writer and director to develop their ideas, structuring a speech and skills in public speaking.

About Kenan:

Kenan is a student from Manchester, studying English Literature in his first year of University. He is a member of the Royal Exchange Young Company, and believes that theatre is vital to see beyond the barrier of our own experiences. He's always felt apprehensive about expressing his views, and have always felt that it was futile to try and change other people’s opinions, so he's relished the challenge to speak publicly and to become more proactive about the change he wants to see in the people around him.
